The Client

Our client is a Melbourne based,  global designer and manufacturer of cable and antenna systems represented across multiple continents. They have an immediate requirement for an experienced Structural Engineer.
 
The Role

Sitting within the Engineering team, the responsibilities of the role will include but not be limited to the following:
  • Consult, recommend and advise on specialist engineering areas
  • Check all design work for technical accuracy and adequacy
  • Perform site project engineering when required including technical evaluations and recommendations, programming, procurement and quality control
  • Review designs and constructability
  • Provide technical support to the Business Development, Tendering and Construction branches as required
  • Act as liaison between design and construction to facilitate interpretation of engineering documentation
The Person
  • You will be a Degree qualified Engineer with a minimum of 10 years post grad experience
  • You will have extensive experience in large scale cable and antenna systems 
  • It is essential that you have a full understanding of all current BCA and Regulations
  • Must have strong coordination, organisational and time management skills
This is a pivotal role and the successful candidate will become and integral part of the organisation and an important catalyst to the growth of client relationships.
