Judd Farris is seeking a permanent Retail Leasing Executive for an exciting new role based in Brisbane.  The role will see you working with a major landlord that has an impressive portfolio of properties across Queensland. Our client requires a dynamic negotiator to join their team and manage the leasing of an attractive portfolio.

Reporting to the Regional Leasing Manager and working as part of an experienced team, you will be directly responsible for securing and re-negotiating both existing and new leases for all tenancies within a defined portfolio.  This role will require an individual with proven leasing experience in the retail field (from either landlord or agency side) along with an established network of relationships with major retailers. Ideally you will have worked for either a property owner or an institution and have experience in strategic planning. 100k + bonus

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Developing leasing strategies
  • Formulating leasing proposals and heads of agreement
  • Negotiating commercial terms
  • Negotiating new and renegotiating existing lease agreements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • In excess of three years retail leasing experience
  • Advanced interpersonal skills and confidence in dealing with a range of senior individuals
  • A strong commercial acumen and exceptional organisation skills
  • A good understanding of the Retail Leases Act
  • Strong negotiation skills and an ultimate ability to meet bottom line operational targets
